NEW USES FOR OLD THINGS: Mail Organizer as Cutting Board Divider

Sort your cutting boards in the kitchen for easy access in an overstuffed cabinet using this mail sorter. This mail sorter was found in one of three boxes that I am sorting for my office supplies.  I didn't want to get rid of it so I thought it could be used for another purpose.  Ignore the dust . A common item rethought for a new purpose.  Love when that happens! Happy Friday!

5 HOLIDAY DESERT RECIPES + SOME FAILS

Ok, it is about time that I share with you the recipes for the desserts that I made for our Ugly Mug Exchange a few weeks ago and all that I learned in the process.  Amazing and awkward, check.  Hope you get a chuckle. Pretzel Treats Cute and Sassy Designs by Bonnie Ingredients : Bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug M&M's candy Instructions: Heat the oven to 170F. Set a number of bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels (one for each treat) in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug. Bake for 4 to 6 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly), until the chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M's candy into the center of each Kiss. Allow the treats to cool for a few minutes, then place them in the refrigerator to set, a

DIY PHOTO BOOTH + PROPS

For the Ugly Mug Exchange, I added a home made photo booth and was hoping our guests would unleash their inner child.  I was also hoping people would sort of break out of their bubble and have some fun.  Though the backdrop was pretty, the props really made the biggest impact! Before I show you the props, let me share how I created the pretty backdrop.  Here were my inspiration photos I found online through Pinterest . Lune and Chloe Weddings   Wouldn't that be a gorgeous backdrop?  Then I thought that since I had the white curtains in our dining room, I could hang lights behind the curtains for sort of a glowing effect.  Something like this.   Prop Insanity Hoping for this effect.
