SIMPLE MAKEUP STORAGE DISPLAY

Remember when I wrote about my  make up brush storage solution?  I found a tray ( bed bath and beyond ) that has seemed to work well for tidying up my supplies and hello, super cheap! Not only do I have my make up brushes inside, but a sweet-smelling candle and a candle holder I converted to hold a few other slim items inside. Debating whether I should paint the wood or leave it natural...the wood matches the cabinet framing so I think for now I'll keep it as is.

DIY PICTURE FRAME DRY ERASE BOARD

For some time now I have been obsessed with message boards...from chalkboard, to glass, to burlap, to metal, you name it.  After I created the ChalkBoard Frame I have been looking for ways to communicate to the hubby in other ways around the house. Idea steal:   style at home old frame + pretty paper + dry erase marker = easy peasy just wipe off and start fresh! I changed pens... :) Thinking about using this in the master bathroom.  I can write hubby messages before he gets up in the morning!  I'm also thinking about trading out the frame for something a little more vintage.  We'll see. HOW TO DISPLAY AND STORE MAKE-UP BRUSHES

Here is my current makeup/toiletries drawer: Chaotic right? For some time now, I have been using one of those plastic sliding drawer organizers above my toiletries to help efficiency but it has just become messy.  There must be a better and prettier way to display makeup brushes?  My next goal is to organize the toiletries with pretty wood drawer dividers?  That's what I'm thinking... This photo was on pinterest and I thought, hey I could try something like this! Blonde Ambition Instead of the coffee beans, I wanted something a little more girly and sparkly!  I bought a simple glass container ($1.00 from the dollar store, ha!) and then filled it with pretty clear beads from Joanne Fabrics.  Inserted the brushes, and I'm done. Lookin' good right? My idea eventually is to find a pretty tray where I can place all of my makeup inside and contained, like this photo: 12 Devonshire This tray is from West Elm and is no longer available.
